I suppose the public service commissioners believe the rate payers owe them a thank you

By Chris Peeks February 11, 2024

Sometimes, people suffer such an egregious insult that they can only laugh about it. Because the level of such brazen disrespect will cause you to laugh so hard until you cry; otherwise, you would be so enraged with anger you would have tears of fury.

This happens to be what transpired as a result of the latest actions coming from Alabama's Public Service Commission. If the anger of four rate increases in 2022 that caused the average household power bill to rise almost 250$ we're not enough what the commissioners did Monday was tantamount to a slap in the face to the Alabama ratepayer.

Realizing the wrath of the voters over having the nation's third-highest power bills along with all their rate increases, the PSC decided to do something about it.  So they did. The PSC took pity on the people by rewarding them with a 5$ rebate off next month's power. You can't even buy a fast food meal for that.

In a time of record Inflation, 3$ gallon of gas, and stagnant wages, this Den of Thieves gives you five bucks. They should have kept it instead of that slap in the face to the Alabama ratepayer. People, the time has come. Twinkle Cavanaughs got to go. On March 5th, let's overturn that money table and throw her from the building.
