Much like Florida in 2000 and Ohio in 2004, Pennsylvania is the must-win state for Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. Though the path to 270 is still attainable for the losing candidate, Capturing the Keystone State is the easiest route to Pennsylvania Avenue.
Here recently, Donald Trump returned to Butler, Pennsylvania, for the first time since last July's assassination attempt. A crowd of 70,000 greeted the former president. With that many people attending his rally to show their support for Trump, losing Pennsylvania is hard to fathom. The citizens of Pennsylvania and Donald Trump seem to have formed a bond.
The latest survey from Pennsylvania puts Donald Trump ahead of Kamala Harris by 49% to 47%. Never during Donald Trump's two previous campaigns against Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden did he poll this high. He did not even get near the margin of error in most cases. Yet, today, Trump has a 0.2% lead over the vice president, according to the RealClearPolitics aggregate average, and even more reason for optimism; in the previous six polls, the former president edged out Harris in four, and in the other two, they were tied.
There are now less than four weeks to go in the 2024 campaign, and Pennsylvania is trending to Donald Trump
