Katie Britt's epic fail

Sometimes one just marvels at how things occur. Certain disasters are pure dee luck or rather bad luck. Everything has to line up for the catastrophe to unfold. Other times a debacle takes place when someone somewhere with the authority to make a command decision  issues a judgement that proves they lacked any to begin with. And it does not take long for what at first seemed like a great idea  to implode like a demolition filled building. With spectators asking out loud "who on earth made this call."

Deep down the human psyche yearns to witness tragedy. We are morbid beings. Probably the reason for this desire is our own sense of mortality. Wether it be an ill luck calamity like  a train derailment or a person in power making a stupid choice like watching Sarah Palin go down in flames as a Vice Presidential candidate people just can't take their eyes off of destruction..

An apocalypse occurred the other night as the whole world watched. Since our first President gave the State of the Union address it has been an annual tradition as our Commander in Chief addresses both chambers of Congress on where the country stands. I imagine the first opposition response came after Washington left office and political parties formed.

I have always watched them and not really given them that much thought. But I can assure you on this no one has ever countered the President's speech with the abortion that Senator Katie Britt delivered to the country Sunday night.  I mean who in God's Own Party (GOP) had a light bulb go off in their head and said  "hey let's go get the junior Senator from Alabama to give the Republican response.Nothing could go wrong with that right?"

I don't even know where to begin with her asinine speech. Did no one go over what she should address. She talked as if the border crisis started when Biden took office. And for the nerve of that elitist acting like she had to work hard as a child and the tough decisions she had to make at the dinner table each night. The only tough decisions the wealthy make at dinner each night is which prep school their kids will attend. Her speech reminded me of the worst A.I. articles ever written.

But to top it all off why did she use all those weird gestures.  Then trying to be funny, sarcastic. Before finally getting emotional and crying. An epic fail. Her speech equaled flying a plane into the side of a mountain. And the worst of it all is she lied all the way through her presentation Heads should roll over who picked her.

And now people are saying she maybe Trump's running mate. What? Why? How? She would be Dan Quayle, Sarah Palin, and Geraldine Ferraro all rolled into one. She would be a heartbeat away from the presidency. Can you imagine Vice President Katie Britt becoming the leader of the Free world?

It's sad that Tommy Tubberville and Katie Britt is the best this state has to offer.They are a total embarrassment everytime they speak something else goofy rolls off their toung. They don't have a clue what they're doing . My fellow Alabamians we have got to stop electing the least common denominator and putting people In office who thinks outside the box and will move us forward as a nation .
