Chip Beeker has done good for himself. Owns a lot of land that he has turned into a lucrative business owning catfish farms and cattle. Not to mention running for his third term on the Public Service Commission. He's done so well for himself he even loaned his campaign $100,000.
Of your money that is. After getting $46,000 in PPP loans forgiven in April, 2021 Chip got another $45,000 . Shortly there after Chip loaned his campaign $100,000. Which makes one ask if you had $100,000 to loan your campaign why did you need $91,000 to protect the payroll of your employees?
They brings up other questions. How many employees does it take to run a catfish pond and cattle? I don't ever see a bunch of people standing around a fishing hole or in a cow pasture. So how many people on payroll did he need to protect with 91,000? One, himself, despite the fact that he makes over $100,000 a year on the PSC.
Chip Baker just committed fraud against the federal government using PPP funds to finance his campaign. This thief stole $100,000 meant to save businesses payroll and used it to bankroll his race for the PSC. I can picture it in my mind's eye when this question is finally asked. "Chip Beeker how do you plead?
