The election cycle is in full swing, and the campaign donations are flowing like a fast-moving river. One candidate in particular just picked up a nice gift. That person is none other than Twinkle Cavanaugh.
Now I had a lot of other articles I wanted to write laying out her history as a political figure, but I have to inform you of this first. It's too good. At initial glance, I thought this was an April Fool's joke, but it's not. On the first of that month, Twinkle received a 10,000 dollar donation from EDUPAC. Who are they? Well, as the old saying goes, "Follow the money." So let's follow it.
For starters, she has a history of donations from EDUPAC. She received 40,000 dollars from them in 2018 in her bid for Lt. Governor—and another 10,000 in 2020. Twinkle is a conservative fighter, right? Lovely, let's examine who else EDUPAC has given to.
Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox, Representative Patrick Sellars, Senator Roger Smitherman, and last but not least, former Representative Fred Plumb, who just resigned a few days ago after being charged with one count of wire fraud and one count of obstruction of justice in a kickback scheme are just
a few of the Democrats backed by EDUPAC.
Twinkle Cavanaugh, a conservative fighter protecting Alabama from the liberal agenda, is funded by a PAC that supports Alabama's far-left. Oh no! Say it isn't so Twinkle? Commissioner Cavanaugh, will you return the donation?
