Are there moral victories?

There's an old saying about there is no such thing as a moral victory. While that is partly true it is not 100% correct. When we examine what all transpired during the PSC races we can see this more clear. The

verocity of those races proves this.

Those races were as good as it gets for politico people. They were a hard hitting affair. With the incumbents backed by the powers that be on one side and the challengers with their supporters in open rebellion on the other the gloves came off. The opposition had the right candidates, they had the right message but in the end the powers that be were able to beat back the insurrection and stamp out the would be revolution. Alas, this did not amount to a total loss.

The challengers, by talking about the hidden tax, or overage charges were able to expose this den of thieves on the PSC like the nerve of a tooth under a dental cavity, forcing Twinkles hand, and unless I'm mistaken will be giving the rate payers their first rebate since Lucy Baxley served as PSC President. The challengers achieved more in defeat than the incumbents ever did in victory by making Commissioner Cavanaugh give the money where it belongs. To the rate payers instead of her cronies in the legislature. To those who took on the establishment I salute you.
