Alabama Public Service Commission and Alabama Power

With DOGE exposing how the United States government is wasting your money, the magnolia state likewise needs a department to look at how the Alabama Public Service Commission is allowing Alabama Power to squander the Alabama rate payers resources. We have gone over the hidden tax and the liberties the power company has taken. Now, let's examine one more.

Boot Scoot Boogie

Earlier today, Alabama Power rented out the Finley Center at the Hoover Met for their customer service representatives. Now, had this event, numbering 500 people, lasted a couple of hours for training that would have been one thing. Had this further development session lasted all day that would have been another. It was neither. The employees of Alabama Power, dressed in Western wear, were learning how to country line dance. Complete with a live band.

Drink Up

Now, of course, Alabama Power provided food and beverages for the hoedown. According to an unnamed source, the Southern Company paid 6,000 dollars for drinks. No, not alcohol. Orange juice, coffee, coke, etc. That is 12 per person in case you were wondering.

A Feast

I asked one of the namesakes of one of the souths most famous restaurants about this. He informed me,"Drinks should have been provided with catering, which should cost about 15 bucks per person. Breakfast and lunch around thirty dollars."Yet according to the unnamed source from Full Moon Bar B Que Alabama Power paid 50k for this party, or a 100 dollars per person...yeah.

That's 56k for food and drink. Plus the cost to rent the Finley Center. Not to mention other fees.

It's your money

This is yet another way Twinkle Cavanaugh and Jeremy Oden allow the people of Alabama to be robbed. Rate payers, this will not end until you stop it. This is your money. Hold them accountable.
