Natural Born Hypocrisy: Wes Allen’s War on Immigrant Representation
No one should be surprised at Wes Allen pushing this type of egregious bill. Remember, when Allen served in the legislature, he sponsored a bill banning curbside voting. In retrospect, does his racist xenophobia not risk alienating level-headed Republicans—those who don’t view individuals who came to this country and became citizens the right way as the enemy? Does he not believe that his own ancestors, who came to this country seeking a better life and became citizens, shoul

Cornbread, Coach, and Cold Showers: Tuberville’s Wink Shakes Up Alabama’s Lt. Gov Race
Those pics had to be a wake-up call for Allen—like a cold shower in January. Startling, jolting, and eye-opening. Allen already faces problems running against Rick Pate. Everybody likes the Commissioner. He is as lovable as buttered cornbread with fried chicken after Sunday go-to-meeting.
